WHITEHALL TWP., Pa. – Some Whitehall Township seniors are getting into the holiday spirit.
A group of Fellowship Community residents visited the Pennsylvania State Police Wednesday to give the troopers holiday treats.
They traveled on a bus to the Bethlehem barracks to make their delivery.
The seniors baked many of the items to show their appreciation for everything the troopers do to keep the Lehigh Valley safe.
“It means so much to us knowing that we have the support out there of the community when we go out there and do our jobs, especially this time of year, Thanksgiving, New Year’s, Christmas,” said Trooper Nathan Branosky.
State police say they’re thankful for those goodies, and that they will get eaten up pretty quickly.
